Sometimes you forget how beautiful the city you live in is.
As the sunny days are starting to end I decided to take in some of Oxford on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with my friends. We booked on the Oxford walking tour – it’s about £12 for an hour and a half.
We walked through/by Broad Street, the Sheldonian, the Ratcliffe Camera and New College. Our tour guide told us the history of buildings, battles between the town and gown and many tales of inspiration that may have led C S Lewis to write the Chronicles of Narnia.
After the tour we visited the Weston Library and then headed to Oxford Castle Quarter and had a lovely meal and wine in the sun at Prezzo.
